I seem to have a “thing” for blinds…

To block reflections, this was photographed with the lens pressed flat against the window—a trick I learned from a video interview with Jay Maisel.

  1. April, I love the simplicity and the restriction to white and red. I love the contrast between the rigidity of the horizontal blinds on the left with the graceful curves on the right. Very unusual.

  2. Hi April,

My OCSD is kicking in (Obsessive Compulsive Symmetry Disorder) :0) I will forgive you this time. It is interesting how the red has contaminated the whites almost making them pinkish.

  3. You’re right, Alan. According to an eyedropper, they are slightly biased toward red. However, the grays are neutral so I’m going to put it down to reflected light and leave things as they are. 🙂

Thank you both for continuing to visit and give your feedback!
