Another photograph taken during the recent Miksang workshop in Boulder. As we endure 96F heat and high humidity in Chicago, this image struck me as especially inviting to process.
The white flecks were puffs of cottonwood seed floating on the pond’s surface, but remind me of falling snow or cherry blossoms.

It’s a challenge to capture the quality if inwards focused thinking. I feel, you succeeded here. Well, the shot comes close to a flash of perception for me, but what it definitely does, is to lead my thoughts way into the sky and the future, just to return to myself. I really like that. So much gentle rhythm here…
cheers

Thank you very much for your comments, Roland.
During the workshop, I did not submit this as a “flash” on assignment. But I did enjoy the moment, and it stayed in my mind when I returned home.
