The other morning, while out looking for sidelight to fulfill an assignment for The Mindful Eye, I came across this beautiful backlight instead.
After several days of heavy rain, humidity was high but skies were mostly clear and there was no wind. Everything sparkled with dew.

We can really feel the humidity in this picture. All the small circles in the bokeh evoke dew drops. Nice combination of red-violet and green here.

I’m exploring some approaches that are different for me, and though intrigued by the possibilities haven’t yet been satisfied with the outcome. This is one I liked. 🙂
