This is very mysterious! Is the girl real? Or is that a poster seen thru a window? The window’s shape is sort of like some trains have. But then do train windows have numbers? The yellow words look like a foreign language that doesn’t use the Roman alphabet. Very mysterious.
I like the word “mysterious” applied to this image. At first I was stopped because I couldn’t understand what I was seeing in this location—one of the boarding gates at O’Hare Airport—and then became entranced with the scene.
I had to apologize later to a passenger who changed seats because he was afraid I was photographing him. But I wasn’t going to move until I got the shot!
