Warming up on my own before the second day of exercises during the Miksang photography workshop in Boulder, I was delighted by the colors in this setting.

  1. Evenly matched is right! You have a great eye for this, April. But what makes the image for me is the presence of both the latch and the hinge. Without either of those, for me the image would lose its impact.

    I find your idea “…which suggests both coming and going”. so right and brilliant. Anyway, I love pictures of doors. I love this picture divided in three parts with its harmonious combination of colors.

    Maybe this picture is also about intimacy (like the previous one). It can evoke without revealing the people’s private life. It is mysterious and we can imagine a lot of stories.
