Springs of an empty bedframe against a deep blue sky.

Walking the alleyways in our neighborhood recently, I found this in the bed of a salvage truck. Cool. 🙂

  1. Cool blue, yes. Cool image of spring that make me want to get on them and jump up and down. Thanks, April, for helping me activate my inner child again!

  2. What I like in this abstract or hyperrealist picture (I think we can choose the category) is its ornemental quality: repetition of lines, spirals, etc., but moreover, the DOF that light, hitting the wires, gives to the whole picture. There is a nice symmetrical, decorative, design or pattern and yet not a flat one.

I really enjoy this photo, April. Bravo!

  3. I had not thought of jumping up into the sky, Flo. A fun interpretation!

Micheline, I hesitated in processing because the sky was not such a deep blue in the original capture. But oh, I did like how darkening brought out the light on the coils. I’m glad that caught your eye, too.

Thank you for both for your feedback!
