Fog №3

{click image to view large}

Nikon D300; 1/145 sec @ f11, ISO 250 (handheld);
18-200 mm f/3.5–5.6 @ 105mm (157mm EFL); focus distance 33.5m

This wasn’t exactly what I “expected” to see on a foggy morning in spring. Once I let go of those ideas and realized what I was seeing, however, I had great fun on this walk.

  1. Just when we think, we have understood the world clearly, there comes the fog. And suddenly, truth becomes something rather irrelevant. Or at least very local, very temporary. I like how your fog shots capture that moment, when things that might have been easy to identify become something that comes out of nothing and go back to nothingness soon after. This is really nice.

  2. Thank you, Roland, for your comments!
